Waterseal is our premium bitumen-based coating specifically formulated for ponds, dams, water tanks, and water-holding structures. This ultra-flexible and extremely durable rubber membrane is built for full, long-term water exposure — no runoff needed.

It forms a thick, waterproof seal over brick, concrete, screed, and similar porous substrates.

🧱 Ideal Uses:

• Garden ponds, koi ponds, and decorative water features

• Farm dams and small water retention basins

• Built-in non-potable water tanks

• Exposed reservoir linings and wall bases

• Cement-based fish ponds (non-drinking)

🧪 Application Guidelines:

• Apply minimum 3 coats or 2-3mm (or one thick dabbing coat) to achieve full coverage

• Always allow full curing between coats (3–4 hours exterior, up to 6–8 indoors)

• Do not expose to water until all coats are fully cured (48–72 hours minimum)

• Spread with roller or hand brush for best surface tension

• NO harch chemicals or solvents in water i.e chlorine, turps etc

🔧 Prep Like a Pro:

If applying to porous or dusty surfaces (cement, mortar, etc.), always prime first with Lekker Rubber Bonding Liquid. This ensures micro particles are sealed, preventing absorption and allowing the rubber layer to form evenly and effectively.

Not suitable for drinking/potable water tanks.
Keep away from open flame or excessive heat during use and storage.
