Lekker Rubber Shipping Policy
1. Shipping Coverage
Lekker Rubber delivers nationwide within South Africa.
At present, we do not offer international shipping.
2. Shipping Methods
- Orders are shipped via reputable third-party courier partners using standard road delivery services.
- Express or priority shipping may be arranged on request, subject to availability and additional cost.
- Lekker Rubber does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. A physical address is required.
3. Shipping Fees
- Shipping costs are calculated based on order weight, size, and delivery location.
- Remote or outlying areas may attract additional surcharges imposed by courier partners.
- All applicable shipping fees will be displayed and confirmed before order finalisation.
Lekker Rubber reserves the right to adjust shipping fees if incorrect delivery details are provided or if courier surcharges change after checkout.
4. Order Processing & Handling Time
- Orders are processed and prepared for dispatch within 1–3 business days after payment has been confirmed by our accounts department.
- Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
5. Delivery Timeframes (Estimated)
Delivery timeframes begin once the order has been dispatched:
- Major metropolitan areas: 2–4 business days
- Regional areas: 3–5 business days
- Outlying or remote areas: 5–7 business days
Delivery estimates are provided as a guideline and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to factors beyond our control, including courier backlogs, adverse weather conditions, load-shedding, or public holidays.
6. Order Tracking
- Once your order has been dispatched, tracking details will be sent via SMS or email.
- Customers may track their shipment directly through the courier’s online tracking portal.
7. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Providing accurate and complete delivery details at checkout.
- Ensuring someone is available to receive the delivery where required.
Lekker Rubber will not be held liable for delays, failed deliveries, or additional courier fees resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information.
8. Failed Delivery Attempts
- If a delivery attempt is unsuccessful due to customer unavailability or incorrect details, the courier may reschedule delivery or return the parcel.
- Any additional delivery or return costs incurred will be for the customer’s account.
9. Lost or Delayed Parcels
If a parcel is significantly delayed or suspected to be lost:
- Customers must notify Lekker Rubber within 7 days of the expected delivery date.
- We will log a formal investigation with the courier partner.
- Courier investigations may take up to 7 business days.
- Resolution (replacement or refund) will be handled in accordance with the courier’s findings and Lekker Rubber’s internal assessment.
10. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If an order arrives damaged or incorrect:
- The issue must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Clear photos of the product and external packaging are required.
- Claims submitted after 48 hours may not be accepted.
Replacements or refunds will be processed once the courier assessment is complete and approved.
11. Partial Shipments
In some cases, orders may be shipped in multiple parcels due to stock availability or product size. Customers will be notified if this applies.
12. Force Majeure
Lekker Rubber shall not be held liable for delays or failure to deliver caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, natural disasters, severe weather, or infrastructure disruptions.
13. Policy Updates
Lekker Rubber reserves the right to amend this Shipping Policy at any time. Any changes will be published on our website and will apply to orders placed after the update.
